Philomina is a beautiful girl,who resides at Minna.Being the first child of a family of three,she had a lot of responsibilities. The responsibility was laid on her because her mother was late and her father is a retired naval personel,who was lazy and irresponsible.   From age 18,she has been doing some odd jobs to help with the education of her siblings.The eldest son,Michael is 15,while the younger,Ezekiel is 13years. She couldn't pursue a university degree because she did not make her jamb twice,she considered herself to be dull,and since no one supported or encouraged her,she gave up on education.   She got a job at the Federal Hospital in Minna as a cleaner,she also helps with household chores in her neighbourhood for extra pay.These went on for 4 years untill she met a patient at the hospital.   Julius was being treated for typhiod and was on admission. The word slothfulness was derived from an animal so called from the remarkable slowness of his motions.There are 2 species of this animal; the three toed sloth,and the two toed sloth,both found in South America. It is said that his greatest speed seldom exceeds 3 yard an hour,it feeds on vegetables and ruminats,because of his laziness to hunt for food. So the word SLOTH;means to be idle or not in use,while SLOTHFUL;means imactive,sluggish,lazy,indolent,idle,being reluctant to exert oneself.That is why the Bible admonishes us not to be slothful in our work. Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order. There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions. Don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. I boarded a bus from Ikeja, heading to Ojuelegba; i sat close to the driver and as a common thing for most lagosians, you check from side to side, and observe if there is any strange face or activity in the bus, (security reasons) as we all know that danger is not written on the forehead. The sound of cool blue music made the moving bus a little bit comfortable. I listened to songs from Mariah Carey; hero. Michael Jackson; heal the world. I found myself humming to these songs unconsciously and relishing the moment. The next track that played from the small mp3 player, was what got my attention, it was one of Whitney's latest song before she passed on, titled, ''why u looking at me'' and i loved that song. To my surprise i saw the driver singing the song with so much swags, and he got the lyrics correctly. I couldn’t help but smile, i guess i was impressed.
